Gotomeeting seems to be falling out of favor.
Dimdim does look to be eating it's lunch.

One of the likely reasons (in our company for sure) is that with the down turn a lot of companies moved some departments to basic linux systems and re-purposed old computers. These departments now can't share in gotomeeting webinars and as such, clients moved to a cross platform solution.

We've been looking for a good altrnative to gotomeeting because of price. $49 was fine at first, but we now have 6 people and $300 month is getting tougher to swallow.

Tried MS Live and it was a nightmare. Difficult to buy and get installed. Difficult to initiate meetings. Delays in screen painting. And limited color depth. Would be acceptable if free and for personal use, but not something you can count on for running your business.

Yugma was easy to setup, though screen sharing failed on fist try. Once we got it working, there was a significant delay.

Going to try Zoho now. Any other suggesstions?

Actually a company named DimDim offers the same services for LINUX at lower rates than Citrix.

Currently, Citrix and Webex have nothing on DimDim.

Another company, Bomgar, offer services that accommodate meetings for machines using different operating systems. You can have a meeting in Ubuntu with others using Windows or Mac.

Thanks for putting together this website. A lot of good information on GoToMeeting. In your blog above, though, you say Live Meeting lacks features. What features are those in comparison to GoToMeeting? If anything, Live Meeting offers superior features over GoToMeeting, and at significantly lower price (less than $10 per month for standard license for up to 15 participants, and under $20 for Professional with up to 1250 participants). It is obvious your blog is slanted towards GoToMeeting, but you should at least provide a true side-by-side feature comparison.
